Andy Ansell cycling challenges 2026 including the 30th Pedal to Paris

My Story
Hi and Thank You for visiting my page! I've signed up to take part in Pedal to Paris again. The ride starts in London and is nearly 300 miles (460 km) finishing in Paris. I am planning a number of cycling challenges in 2026, inc Pedal the Somme and actually starting the P2P a few days early from the midlands and riding back from Paris to London to make it nearly 700 miles. I work at the National Memorial Arboretum, the year round centre for Remembrance. My job involves interacting with and supporting veterans. I feel it is incredibly important to support all the veterans that have served and sacrificed. By taking part in these challenges I'll be raising funds to support the Royal British Legion. Their Poppy Appeal was founded to help those in need following a national crisis. Right now they are helping those who are isolated from family, facing homelessness, struggling to feed their children and are in financial crisis. They are working tirelessly to ensure that those who have served are being looked after no matter what challenges they, and the country faces. Your donation will mean they can continue to provide the life-changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves. Thank You
