My Story

Yes, I know: MADNESS. I've signed up to take part in Pedal to Paris again. When I did this ten years ago I was much fitter, slimmer and was cycling more often.  And it was still the most challenging physical task I've ever done. And now this fatter, older, more worn-out version of me is doing it again.

So why? I'm doing it in recognition of my uncles, who served in World War Two, and the men and women who have served in conflicts or preparedness ever since - all of whom have faced far tougher challenges.

I'll be raising funds to support the Royal British Legion. Their Poppy Appeal helps those who have served and are in need. Right now they are helping those who are isolated from family, facing homelessness, struggling to feed their children and are in financial crisis. They are working tirelessly to ensure that those who have served are being looked after no matter what challenges they, and the country faces. Your donation will mean they can continue to provide the life-changing support that our Armed Forces community needs and deserves.
